...the pic shows a 'blue' module- you might send him an email to confirm that it is the 'red one' that is sent- the red one is the newer design and is generally better.
I can attest the reliability- I installed mine in Jan 09 and have the points/condenser in the glovebox just in case- but haven't needed them yet! Just make sure you test the coil first- you may need a £3 ballast resistor depending on the resistance- but I didn't need one on mine. cheers, Brian Last edited by redboy; May 29th, 2010 at 12:13. |

Greetings All,
I've never posted on this forum, but thought I'd give another recommendation on the hotspark product. I've fitted their ignition kit to my recently acquired 164 and can report much smoother idling and running, particularly when the engine is still cold. Although I quite agree the shipping costs where a bit high and pushed the overall cost a little higher than the improvement may be worth. Regards, Nick |
