Transmission Problems

Hi everybody
I have Volvo S60 2013 T4 1.6
43,000 KM
and I have a problem in transmission, The dealer informs need to change clutch kit.
I want to know how can I get the transmission number?
what is your advice
1. change clutch kit ( too much expensive )
2. or buy another transmission?
3. other ( your advice )

That is no mileage for that year (not a lot of miles )I would not think it is the clutch.Maybe something in the gear linkage.

It's Automatic Gear.
I will try to change the fluid transmission

Can I have any website help me to know my car parts number?

If you are changing your gearbox oil I think this is what you need.AISIN Premium ATF 6 Automatic Transmission Oil.Try Googling it. It is still not a lot of miles even for an automatic.

The powershift gearbox , Gearbox Oil and gearbox oil filter must be changed every 54000 mile service , it IS part of the service schedule not optional .. must be changed

Clan, it has only done 43.000 km.Will a full service fix this ?

It has done about half the required mileage , but the car should have had it's gearbox oil and filter changed on the 4th year service , so coming up to having it changed again at the next service on a time basis ..
Did you have it changed on the 4th year service? If not then yes it could create a problem if the gearbox filter is blocked .
