Is the distributor still on the side of the engine? What engine does the car have? I'm after a distributor from a single carb B20

Hi, I think the distributor is there and I think it's a B20 (b?) I will check when I next go over and report back. ( cars a way away) It's a 1973/4 DL if that tells you anything.
Regards ken

Hi Chris, it's a single carb. I think from memery it's a solex but I'm not sure, but certainly single carb.

Thanks very much - I'll be well interested if the last 3 numbers are 077

@ Volvo_133 - as soon as I've found an 077 distributor, you can have mine which is the correct distributor (078) for a B20B!

Hi,
Are we talking engine or just the dizzy? I think now mine must be an B20A. No one has mentioned offers on the dizzy, if I sell the dizzy it will effect the engine sale, but if the ancillaries make a fair price is saves me struggling to get the engine out. I'll check the numbers when I go over next.
Regards ken

Hi, depends on what you offer I guess. I have interest in the engine but only with the dizzy. What I am saying really is do I want to spend a back aching day removing it for not much more than the price of just the dizzy. I've had lots of enquiries for the dizzy so they must be in short supply. I checked it over and it is a 077 for a b20 A single stromberg carb car. I think I said in a previous thread somewhere it has a solex carb. I forget what I had for breakfast these days.
Regards ken.

Default B20a dizzy.

Hi, I have to make a decision soon if I am to sell the engine with the dizzy. If you want it can you make an offer asap please. Or you can call me on 0775 284 0124 to discuss. it is an 077. Cheers ken
