Garages round here are quite hard to find! Hackney council are offering me one, but an extortionate weekly rate of 17.10 pounds including VAT. How they expect me to think is good deal, is beyond me!
However, I am chasing some leads for some off street parking which have heard can be got for a little as 1.36 pounds per week.
Maybe I should move to Crawley.

Are you for real?
£68.40 for a garage in that London!
I'm a penny pinching northerner.
I was paying £80 a month off a private owner 12 years ago!
Snap their hand off I say!

When I lived in Brighton i paid £100pm and that was a walk away. If I'd known you could get a garage for that price, I'd had 2 when I lived there!!!

Extorniate?? Cheap!!

You can approach the council to see if they have any garages available. Usually rental is pretty good.

@DWeed - such a nice car. Wish I'd never sold mine. Tried to pm you but i've under 30 posts so can't. If you do decide to sell, I would love to come and view.
Regards, Shaun.

Default Back Again

Hi All.
Back again.
So I have finally had to come to the difficult decision to sell.
I have taken some better photos and am back for more advice.
Having sunk a lot of money into the repair and running restorations of this beloved car, I don't know what I should be asking!
Is something like £3500 too much? I just don't see the point in selling it for much less......
All and any advice and opinions would be appreciated.

That's depressing! I can't see the point in selling for that.. I've put more than that into it just in terms of parts!

A sad fact of old car ownership is Cost+ Expenditure rarely = Return.
In no way am I being rude about your car,Early 140 s are cool, best of luck with the sale/ quest for sensible storage.
