Hi Paul, I think I can answer for Donegal as I now have his car. The cars would be useful (fronts in particular)
A complete leather interior is really what is important. Colour isn't so important as I would refinish it earlier. Collapsed cushions or burst stitches wouldn't be a major issue if the leather was OK.

Thanks

Scott

Hi Paul,

Have you a fog lamp relay? Or the clear - orange front turn lenses for an E?

ALLOA: will look at leather condition tomorrow and report back, however, my car is within sight of the sea along the south coast - wouldn't seat shipment to Scotland be prohibitively expensive?

Tom-madbiker: the engine is the B30 six-cylinder lump rather than the four cyl B20, and I'm not dismantling it to dig out the steel timing gears! I will probably be keeping the engine for my next 164 project.

Lesky: I have headlamp flasher relay and lens covers but isn't shipment to you expensive?

If things go according to plan, hope to trailer car to slaughterhouse before long (once I sort out finance for new tyres for trailer).

Paul

Did you have a set of stainless door top trims?

Shipment isn't too bad. I got a foglamp switch out of Denmark and shipment was about $10 USD. I wouldn't expect shipment of lenses and a relay to be to much more. Are the lenses that you have the same as the ones on John H's 164? I posted a photo of the lenses below. If you're up for it, and the lenses are right, I'll take the relay and lenses. PM'd you my address.

Paul: I'm looking for front lenses like this.

John H: I hope that you don't mind that I borrowed your photo.

ALLOA: regret both front seats leather is split downwards for several inches (not just stitching gone) but rear seat parts have leather undamaged (but needs hide food).
940 turbo: speak to John H re stainless door cappings - their removal and refitting shouldn't be taken lightly! I had to use a heat gun and lots of patience to slightly melt the adhesive originally used, and use a wide decorators scraper to gently prise the strip off the door without damaging it. Don't know how John refitted them, if he has yet: maybe thick double-sided tape.
Lesky: for reasons unknown several people have asked about these indicator lenses (maybe everybody has cracked theirs during bad parking). Will look how many I have left when next at store. Yes - they are all like John H's. And I thought only the foglights were rare!

Apologies if I've forgotton anybody - will catch up next time near computer.

Hi Paul,

I'm still looking for a pair of 164 vented calipers for refurb. If you have anything please let me know.

Cheers

Dai

Hi! I am also interested in the front & back seats. If they are not taken yet.
Thanks!
