Unfortunately I cant see you getting it as it is supplied by Volvo to their franchised dealerships and if your garage isn't a Volvo dealership(which it isn't) then I cannot see Volvo providing it - otherwise would they not be providing it to every garage?

It does not necessarily have to be a dealer who is an approved service garage. There are some independent who are approved as I understand from their fixed fee service deal paperwork.

The indi I like to use says that Volvo have asked him to be a registered repairer, but they want him to have "all the Volvo wallpaper" to go with it and he doesn't like all that type of nonsense. He still has Volvo technicians come from Sweden though so he can help them work out technical issues with Vida, and they never charge him for Vida. He's a bit of a Volvo geek.

But does either your approved independent or the others you suggest provide Volvo Assist? That was the question asked which you haven't answered.

You'd need to read the Volvo Assist paperwork or ask Volvo. I was just pointing out that it's not only main dealers who are recognised by Volvo as being able to service and repair Volvos according to the service deal paperwork.

According to the volvo uk website, if you dont have it serviced at an authorised dealer you can buy volvo assistance for £99 per annum.....
