V50 - Bonnet/wing drainage -
I noticed today that there doesn't seem to be any "gutter" on the wings under the bonnet - so it looks like rain water etc can flow straight in.
Is this right and has anyone had problems with this Surely in a real downpour a fair amount of water must get in even if its not a big gap? Perhaps if you are moving the airflow keeps it clear - I had a v50 a few years ago and didn't seem to be a problem |

Yes water can run straight in, I have a D5 and it used to run straight on to the aux belt, and it would slip on start up after rain, but volvo have done a rubber seal mod for that problem that can be done under warrenty at the dealer.
