Good on you noodle, just has to be done. Can't beat a good dose of OCD

So with the burbling Penta up front and the Haldex box, the front suspension dips by 3cm from the level of the FWD

Some more information to share. Yesterday I ran the car to within 5 litres of empty. I measured the rear ride height and then filled the tank to the brim (70.95 litres).
Empty tank. 81cm rear.
Full tank. 80cm rear.

I didn't measure the front as Mrs D was in the passenger seat, and she thinks I am slightly mad anyway.

So, with this observation, I think I will stop measuring XC60s in the parking lots !
It is clear there are a number of factors involved with ride height, one of which is impossible to record (fuel level - and, of course, cargo in the boot).
1. SE or R-Design suspension.
2. SE or SE/4C suspension.
3. 4-cylinder or 5-cylinder block.
4. Manual or automatic.
5. Fuel level.
6. Cargo in boot.
7. Tyre size / profile and pressure (this is [should be] minimal).

Any combination of these will affect the ride height, so I'll put the tape measure away.
It's all logical anyway, because some manufacturers quote a different ride height with no passengers and with 'x' passengers, so there is nothing surprising in the variability of results.

Did you drive it first between the changes? I don't think it will alter if you don't. It's not like air suspension.
