Unfortunately if you do some googling her has a bit of a reputation. I assume a lot of people have ordered stuff and been ok but if you get an issue then he suddenly goes quiet.
As for selling stuff under one name and sending another item well thats crap - trying to hoodwink you.
I've never bought from him after seeing some of the issues and I certainly won't now.

Just for extra evidence that Dai has sent oil dampers not gas dampers.

These are the photos my brother has sent me of the KYB boxes, the part number being 665010 which when you google it brings up plenty of KYB dampers stated as oil pressure.

So a quick search brings up the correct gas dampers with the part number 365065

I asked about a 16T turbo about 2 years ago now, I assume he is still looking to see if he has one

I have since found one and built a full 3” stainless turbo back exhaust for it so no longer needed Dai.

ALL dampers have oil in them , standard ones do not have pressure on the oil , "gas" ones do have gas pressure on the oil so they are probably correct as the word "pressure" is mentioned.

You suppose incorrectly, it's simply how KYB label their oil dampers.

Standard dampers are not pressurised ,
"Gas" dampers have pressurised gas in them ...

Therefore They are very likely to be Gas pressurised dampers , after all that is what they were sold as ... Of course you know better, so we will move on ... and Let Dai sort it out .

Gas dampers push the shaft up as well, oil ones don't... these don't.

not necessarily as the shaft is stiff on new dampers , why not contact the manufacturer , you have to know for sure ...

I've unboxed plenty of gas dampers as I've been around the motor industry for about 8 years now and never once has a gas damper not extended the moment the securing strap is cut off.
