Evo twin scroll turbo in a 240
Hi
I posted this in the 240 section, then thought I may have more response here. Car is a 1993 240 with a 15G added. I have the turbo & the parts/bits to mount a twin scroll turbo on a J pipe arrangement. (two pipes off the end of a n/a exhaust manifold). I have a spare engine on a stand to do it but am unable to test it in my 240 due to the turbo, manifold & pipework already there. I've been playing around with positioning of turbo/pipes etc & have realised that all the installations I have see have been on left hand drive cars, now I'm wondering if there is room for the downpipe past the steering shaft (already inverted) and brake booster. So... Has anyone done this conversion on a right hand drive car? Does anyone know whether it will fit in a 240? - with the downipe in a conventional manner. I've looked at some old posts where people said they were going to fit one but have not found any where it's been done. I've also asked on Turbobricks forum but had no luck. Tim |

upright
You'll have more space if you mount the engine vertically using a b20 sump. Or try a stock turbo manifold with a converter pipe.
