Thanks, I will try all this.
If I replace the REM, is it just a plug and play insulation, or does it need some sort of VIDA input? |

I am unsure, refer to VIDA and the process for changing REM, it will tell you if coding to the car is required.

I have the same two problems on my 2006 V70 D5 (The anti skid and park assist messages come on at the same time ) and have been told the cause is the "steering position sensor". Can anyone confirm this before I replace it?

Without reading with Vida, I doubt anyone can confirm anything based on a guess.

Gents, I had the exact same problem on my XC90 D5 -13. I am pretty sure a shot relay in the REM module is the culprit. If you know how to use a soldering iron its an easy fix and new relay costs about 10USD or less. The relay controls that group of fuses and if you don't have 12volts over fuse 23 etc its very likely the relay.
See this thread for how I fixed it : https://volvoforums.com/forum/volvo-...70/#post502001 |
