Default Volvo 740 clutch

Hi
I'm trying to get hold of a clutch kit for my 740. It's the five speed, B200E 2 litre injection model.

Thanks

I have new kits in stock.

If you are on a very tight budget I have used kits about or just new friction plates

Default Clutch kit

Hi

Thanks - I have managed to get one before I got to your message. If I run into issues, how much was your kit out of interest?

Something to look out for. Sorry if I'm a little vague

Many years ago I had a 1989 740, B200e with fuel injection. I got it in 1991 with about 22K on the clock so it was original in all respects. When I came to change the clutch there appeared to be at least 2 sizes. I had the larger diameter one and had to do a fair amount of chasing around to get a new one. Hope you don't run into the same problem.

Frank

It had an M47 box

Hi Frank

Thank you. The clutch is the original I think - not yet slipping but very high now. I'm getting the clutch in to double check it is the right one before it goes completely. The chassis number matched up to it, so i hope it's the right one.
