Hello,
I had a campaign also before the first revision: change of support 'power pulse' and belt pin third row.

During the review everything perfect, only software update

The first service is now done, for my XC90. Dealer found no problems that required any additional work or parts.

I have attached the service report that I'd received at the end of service.

I haven't had a chance to speak to the service director after receiving the car this evening - but for a 1 year old vehicle with around 6K miles, do the tyre thread deapths and brake pad wear looks OK?

For anyone curious about what's changed as part of first service, here's what I found so far:

- Sensus upgraded to the latest version. I now get the startup checklist in the dirver display

- Collision Avoidance Assitance option is moved from Intellisafe settings screen, to the right most screen as an on/off tile

What's lost as part of the upgrade:

1. DAB favourites
2. Display theme reset
3. Audio levels reset for various things like navigation, parking sensors etc.
4. Tone adjustments reset in the Audio Settings screen
5. Custom equaliser settings reset
6. In the VOC app, pre-conditioning timers are lost
7. Traffic announcements setting reset
8. Icon positions on the left most screen rearranged/reset

What's retained/unchanged as part of the upgrade:

1. All navigation settings retained
2. All navigations favourites/recents in library retained
3. All auto heating settings retained
4. Wifi hotspot settings retained
5. The tile settings and positions on the right most screen remained unchanged

Before the car got picked up for service, I went through each settings screen of the Sensus, and took pictures. I have managed to compare all the pre and post service screens and adjust the settings as per my original setup.

So far so good. If I notice anymore changes/interesting info, I will update this thread.

Cleaning the inside of the windscreen in front of the distance camera is an interesting service item. Especially considering some people commenting about condensation or other moisture in that general area and one comment about the camera coming away from the glass, made in the last couple of days [unless I dreamt it].

After the software update, I've noticed one more change, but I'm not sure if its of any significance:

Before update:
Traffic Provider = INRIX (United Kingdom)

After update:
Traffic Provider = Classic ITIS (Inrix) TMC service (United Kingdom)

The first one is using data directly from the internet over 3G or 4G. The second (inferior) one is data from the RDS stream on Classic FM.

(TMC is Traffic Message Channel.)

With my PCP deal, first 3 services are included!I paid £150 to get that extended to 5 free/included services. So paid nothing for the first service that just completed.

So far I found the RTTI to be very good. Remains to be seen, how it behaves after the update then.

My neighbour's Audi A6 went for its first service recently. Cost him £500 for service plus another £900 to replace the rear tyres (due to uneven wear) and realign...£1400 all in

First service cost in London will be around £250.
