Default V70 Wheel bearings??

Are the front wheel bearings on a 2.4 2001 v70 a prone failure? I've just put a new bearing on the n/s as the mot tester detected some roughness in the bearing, and after a test drive it seems a rumble is still there from the o/s, The car hasnt been driven for a while as i've just repaired it after salvaging it from a scrap yard. I had noticed a rumble en-route to mot, so after he found the n/s was rough i thought that would be it. so somewhat surprised to hear the rumble still there

I had to replace one of the front bearings on our 2001 V70 auto petrol - they are prone to failure as you'll see if you do a search here. I do recall that it was deceptive – the sound seemed to come from the side that hadn't failed.
