With regards to Maps, if you go to Maps download section, select North West Europe, then the drop down expand button, you'll see the version you have.

Latest North West Maps is 1253.

No idea how to tell if Voice or Gracenote have been installed once you've updated via USB, other than the message saying turn car off to comolete update.....

Message initially came up saying installing, then later said installed.

Updating maps I can see you can download direct from the support section.

But wondering if it's preferable to login to the volvo site or doesn't matter?

I personally would log in, assuming your profile has the correct car, but I guess it doesn't matter so long as you check the download is for your car....

I did Voice, then later Gracenote - both done in separate single journeys, about 15 mins each for me
