S40: - Strange knocking

Hi all
I am new to your site as i have just purchased a S40 2000
there is a strange knocking form the o/s front which gets less & less noisy the more i drive could it be the droplink for the anti roll bar?

Might be an Albanian clinging to the inside of the wheel arch?

Hi,

My S40 STILL has a very strange knocking noise coming from the rear right hand side of the car. I say still because I have changed a cracked spring coil, both shock absorbers, anti-drop links, top mount and a bush of some sort. I really don't know what is causing it and it is starting to really annoy me.

It might be something like a CV joint, does it make a noise more when you are turning vs straight ahead? It also might help if we knew the engine and year of the car.

The car is a 2000 model with a 2l engine the noise is more pronounced when in a straight line but only for the first 3 miles or so then only occasionly
