Agreed - thanks.
I've got this job waiting for me when I next go down to France. One of the springs on my V70 broke taking granddaughter&husband, and their friends and luggage, back to the airport last Sept - didn't have time to sort it before coming back myself. Can't complain though at 21yrs old and nearly 200K miles.

Have already bought the sealey spring compressor but must remember to find some steel tubing and remember to take my standard compressors with me. That's one of the pleasures of this forum group - real practical help rather than everyone worrying about whether they've got the latest infotainment software update! Don't think the XC60 I bought last year will still be around at 20+yrs old, but then I probably wont be here either, and certainly not still driving!
