Which is the same as buying a P3 Volvo. Mondeo or Focus dependant on size. The upside is my Mondeo has a D5 engine.

ive worked with jlr and tbh there not that good wiring issues,oil leaks ,engines out on f types to get injectors out ,water leaks the list goes on im afraid

the P3 chassis was done by volvo for ford you can see the resemblance to the P2 chassis .. so a bit better than the "old " mondeo , maybe if found it's way to the Jag as well ... !

My wife has a Mondeo, it's really good, if they did a hot one I'd get one myself.

Older jags based on mondeo chassis was no bad thing as mondeo have consistently had best chassis in class since nineties! Ka, mondeo and focus were all part of the parry jones Ford handling revolution. A load of ballcocks has been spoken about platform sharing mostly by people who regurgitate 'facts' without doing their research or car snobs. Even the old s type based on an American Ford was a good steer.
