Default Glacial acceleration from rest

Following on from the V70 wants to be like a submarine thread yesterday

V70 52 plate,200k D5 auto FSH

Ever since i have had the car ( previous wasa 760 auto turbo 250k) i get a little bit puzzled , and sometime frightened! about the standing start performance

The old 760 used to be foot down and GO

This old bus is foot down..lag roll slowly still lag then zip

When trying to get onto a roundabout is the only time i get kittens,as a good gap for anyone else is a lottery for me esp as the buggers coming around get a bit peeved at me getting in their, and a ige a very good view of an irate face very close to my rear end way
the 0-60 time is in the region of 14 secs!!
the 0-20 takes up about 12 of them

Seeing the milage involved, would a fluid change be beneficial to the auto and more importantly would it have any effect, othewise its £100.00 or so to find out the hard way!

Thoughts appreciated

Hi you should not be getting much turbo lag, you need to see if the vnt actuator is working, and run a boost gauge on it , obd2 will be ok,
also connect a vacuum gauge to the vacuum pump and see if that is working,

What happens if you hold the car stationary on the footbrake (left foot), rev to 3k or so and then release the footbrake?

It’s not in winter mode by any chance is it? Last one was auto, that made it really sluggish, you get a ‘w’ for the gear indicator though so should be obvious.
