I bought a brand new s60 in January this year, it has the new 4 cylinder turbo T4 ppetrol engine 2ltr 190hp. It feels it's a bit underpowered and the economy is terrible for a new car, I average 29 to 32 mpg, paid over 30'k for it, I've now done just under 2000 miles and Volvo are offering 17k against something else if I want to change it, some depreciation that in 6 months, over 40 percent.
Anyone fancy a as new s60. I had a s40 177hp previously and a Saab 93 turbo prior to that. The s60 is my 3rd car in 20 years. I also have a 40 year old triumpg spitfire that does more miles per gallon than this new breed of engine.

You paid over £30k for a brand new outgoing S60? But why? You can get LUX business edition T4's with less than 500 miles on them for £21,000.

Theres loads of these about on Autotrader.

You got ripped off.

Yip. First question I asked the salesman was is the s60 one of the models to be replaced, the answer was "no sir Volvo have no plans for this model for at least eighteen months" wish I had this in writing. Just my wife and I, went ahead and ordered it, waited 4 weeks to get it as it was in the Belgium factory, and low and behold I start receiving marketing material about the new ago in June. Say no more, I've tried talking to the dealer and Volvo uk, but no one is interested, basically all I wanted was a to swap with a bit of cash so I could have a v40 which is a bit smaller with the t5 engine, i had one offer my car and 6500 from a Volvo dealer. I say no more. Really disappointed in Volvo and I will have to drive around in a car I don't really like for another 10 years,

BSR Tuning remap will take any of the T2/T3/T4 VEA engines up to 236bhp/360Nm.

Worth a try at some stage.
