Default URGENT Passenger side rear window

Chaps,

Longs story short I'm in Calais and some undesirables broke into my 240 Estate to steal not much at all. The upshot is I'm now in the market for a passenger/drivers side back window (are they identical?) ASAP to replace the duct tape that's functioning as a window at the moment.

I'm driving from Dover to Lymington on Wednesday afternoon so if anyone in Kent/Sussex/London/Surrey/Hampshire has the glass I'll happily pick up along the way for cash.

Thanks

Alex

Hi Justi,

Sorry if my post isn't quite clear. I'm actually after the quarter glass that looks in to the luggage compartment. If you've got one of those available I'd be really interested!

Thanks

Alex

Justi, is it the whole door you've got with the glass or the rear quarter glass? Just to clarify it's not the door glass I'm after but the glass that goes behind the C pillar.

Thanks

Alex

Hi Alex - remember me with your wheels down that muddy track and over the railway inland from Bognor last spring?
Well, I have a spares-car there right now but a major snag: I only got out of hospital yesterday after another eye operation, so am now housebound and can't drive for a bit. Check-up and patch removal today so may be able to drive on Wednesday, in which case I could drive there tomorrow if you don't mind helping removing glass. Never done that job - previous car went intact, so hope you know best way!
Conversely if it could wait a few days.......of course if you had a trailer (and a big 4x4....) the entire car is available for spares reclaim - thats what I bought it for in the first place, but it being winter and my eyesight playing up again, your current needs are greater than mine,
RSVP (as PM if preferred).

Paul

Wrong side of the country I know but I have one near Scarborough in North Yorkshire. I'd only want a whole £5 for it.

Paul, you're a lifesaver! All going well we can probably be with you about 3pm Wednesday if that works? No idea how the glass comes out but I'm sure the Internet will tell me.

Thanks Antz, I'll keep you in mind.

Cheers

Alex
