Default My turn for a breakdown in more ways then one!

Well, mot booked in Monday, my XC70D5 has been perfect for two years and decides to throw a hissy fit now!

Symptoms of the little darlings tantrum.

Low power, hunting revs when cold.

Fault codes started with exhaust temperature sensor one, bank one, first lambda I assume?

Then maf sensor faults. (I gently cleaned and dried that today with liquioly maf cleaner and its values look steady on torque)

Fuel rail pressure was high, I think it was 5000, dosent drop off when revving.

Today I had a drive after cleaning the maf and the soot filter full message came on.

Boost preassure is 4psi at full revs so am I right to be looking for a split intercooler pipe or intercooler fault?

I presume if the intercooler is playing up it can throw all these other sensors out of kilter or ami barking up the wrong tree as it were.

To top it off my Vida dice won't work with the edited license code.
It's also rained all day so I didn't get under the car, if the intercooler has a leak how do I test it?

Hope the rain stops tomorrow!

I'll try that later on, I don't know what other reading Vida can make that helps diagnose intercooler failure?
I read another forum post and the poster mentioned lambda fault and maf fault with a faulty intercooler so I think I'm on the right track.
Out and under the car in a mo, blue sky's here now!

Default Success!

Intercooler pipe under the turbo has blown off, I put it back but can't do up the clip under the car. Needs to be done from further back reaching over the crossmember.
I popped it back on and did a test drive long enough to prove it's ok but it popped off again leaving me looking like smokey joe!
The garage can fix it back on tomorrow when it's on the ramp being motd.
Strange thing was as I drove up my lane all the abs, anti skid, brake assist faults came on but cleared again up the road, I had the car on ramps so I wondered if this could be a reluctor ring playing up or the sensor to it?
They cleared anyhow so fingers crossed for the mot.

Default Still playing up!

Hmm, this is odd, ever since the intercooler pipe blew off the car has had several problems, the engine service light is on, the soot filter full message popped up again despite the car being used for 30+ mile runs... and the anti skid pops up now and then. When on cruise at 55mph it feels like throttle and brake are being applied as cruise trays to maintain speed? Otherwise it drives normally?
Could the loss of intercooler pipe have caused another problem?

Only engine service required, I still can't get Vida to work but I'm not sure what to look for?
Maybe while the intercooler was off it dumped unburnt fuel into the dpf?
I'm not sure if the dpf will regen when it's over full?
A forced regen maybe if I get Vida running....
