DPF info
Hi, A mate has a 230k 2006 185 V70. He's economy has dropped off and he suspects the DPF may be the cause.
He has asked me to ask on here what the pre DPF pressure is at idle and should it be checked at any other speeds and also what would be considered a high soot loading?. Thanks in advance, Graham |

Hi, Thanks to Graham for posting this for me but I thought it would be easier just to join!
Thanks also for the numbers 4X4. I will run a diagnostic on it when I get a moment to see how mine compares. The filter is the original and having done a reasonable mileage must now have a fair ash loading. I am considering having the filter professionally cleaned out as I have been told the results are good and I'd rather retain the original DPF if possible rather than fitting a (possibly) inferior quality aftermarket replacement. I've seen them with bricks that were half the size of the OE part. Many thanks Dan. |
