Default Error code 1410 altanator signal??

Hi everyone thanks for the advice on my stop start problem it's much appreciated. Has anyone come across the 1410 altanator faulty signal before?
I understand that it's a smart or snap charging system. Just pulled the codes and found 2 the 1410 and cd0c secondary battery charging to low.
As Allways any help will be much appreciated.

I have same errors and 1420 as an extra.

My C30 1.6D eDrive has had the alternator changed and has now started coming up with the ECM-1410 code. I erase it but just keep coming back. Alternator voltage indicating 13.4v and charging battery.
No idea what’s going on!
Any pointers/help would be appreciated.

Alternator is connected to LIN, it has extra wire. Check if there is no problem with spade connector. Some models don't have LIN in alternator, in case it has been replaced make sure you replace the unit has the LIN.

Unit has LIN. When I start up the output voltage is a set 13.3v and doesn’t change with engine speed. The cabin ceiling lights flicker a little.
In about 50% of cases I can reset using Vida. In successful cases the output voltage is seen as approx 14.7v.
One search on the internet mentions the ECM-1410 as an air temperature error and I have 3 different values. Can this be the cause?
Ever since I had the DPF changed this car has had a mind of its own.

My 1.6d DRIVe has the 150A PWM alternator (MY2010 S40 with the D4164T engine). Check the vehicle configuration in VIDA (under Diagnostics -> Details). The alternator type should be listed there.

If you have the wrong type of alternator fitted as a replacement, then the ECM will not be able to adjust the output voltage, and will generate this fault code. Both types of alternator look identical, and can only be identified with their part number.

This code can also be generated if there is a problem with the wiring between the ECM and the Alternator, which may have been disturbed when the DPF was replaced.
