Default New fob required

Hi guys
Can anyone tell me how to get a new fob for my Volvo 850? I only have one for the car and think a spare might be useful
Thanks

Hi Doug, you can purchase a fob from ebay quite cheaply but you will need to take it to a main dealer together with your car to be programmed . I think they charge about £150.00. jack

Or you can get a second hand fob from a breaker car and code it to your car yourself in 10 seconds.

Some fobs won't be compatible for some reason. But when you program a new fob, you will also have to program your old one too. Otherwise the new one will work and not the old one.
