Default Dashcam mounting?

Hi folks. I'm going to be installing my dashcam onto my 90 and I'm looking at the best way of doing it. On my '05 Saab 93SS, the rear view mirror stalk had a cover that clipped off and it was ideal to pop rivet my lovingly hand crafted bracket onto which allowed the cam to sit nice and unobtrusively between the mirror and the windscreen.

Is there a similar hack available on the Volvo? I've nor looked at the mirror stalk yet but I've also spied what I assume is the cover for access to the rain sensor. Whichever way I do it, I won't be using the horrible sucker mounts they come with!

Switched positive feed taken from fuse 27 under the steering column

No, it's attached to the left of the painted area of the windscreen, this allowed me to mount the camera higher and the lens is just under the tinted top section The camera is completely hidden from my view by the interior mirror when in the driver seat

Hardly noticeable from outside
