OTA Updates?

I got 10 App updates today, the first since I had the major software update, last month.

Never noticed this before, but there seems to be a new App, called “Sound & Send”.
Anyone know what this App, is for?

Yes, had 10 updates OTA on mine this morning. All downloaded and installed without any issue.

Do you mean "record and send"? If so, have had that for some time. it allows you to record a sound byte - not sure of max length, but don't think it is too long, and then send as an attachment to an email address.

Not sure how useful it is. You could jut ring the person and tell them or leave a VM or you could dictate a Text message. Or even just send an email from your phone (pulling over and turning the engine off of course)

But if you want to send a message as an MP3 attachment to an email, then this is the app for you

Saying the above, I did actually use the app for the 1st time today. I have had the app installed and configured with my wife's and daughters email addresses for some time, but never had the need to use until earlier today (and after the update). I did not want to ring nor text my wife for various reasons, but wanted to send a quick email with some info. so used this whilst on the move - And it all worked fine. Wife got her email and listened to my dulcet tones enunciate my mothers Christmas list

My mistake: “Record & Send”, it should have been.

Never noticed this app before and after what you have said and also reading the link, I do not think that I will use it.
Too complicated for me.
