volvo 960 saloon for sale

please could anyone help. my son bought a Volvo 960 as a project and due to unforeseen circumstances he want's to sell it. he's done extensive work to the car and is not far from finishing it so it can go through it's mot. the car is in very good condition and comes with full mot service history and has the manuals that came with the car.
the car is automatic, grey body work and black leather seats. comes with all Volvo extras, electric windows, heated seats etc.
he's looking to find out where he can get the best price so any information would be of great use.

The best way to get an idea of used car prices is to have a look at comparable private sales on Autotrader, eBay and the For Sale section of the forum. Bear in mind that the prices auctions close on eBay are likely to be misleading because a lot of winning bidders don't bother to follow through with the sale.

Low mileage and fewer previous owners can boost the price a bit provided a full service history is present. Saloons tend to fetch lower prices than estates. Recent attention to known weak points such as perished suspension rubbers and leaking cooling systems are more likely to lead to a quick sale rather than an inflated price.
