Default Volvo Estate

Looking for a Volvo 240 or 940 estate, must be good condition, no rust. Not crazy price either! I would consider a saloon if it was nice condition. Thanks

Good afternoon, 'dan 244'. I don't know if it will be of any interest at all, but I read in this week's Classic Car Weekly that there is a 1987 240GL Auto Estate entered in the South Western Vehicle Auctions sale at Poole on April 27th.

It is in blue and described as being family owned from new. It looks a very tidy example indeed, and if it sells within estimate (£800 - £1000) will be a 'steal' in my view. Maybe someone living locally would be prepared to bid on it for you in return for some beer tokens?

Regards, John.

The 240 is exactly as described and is very nice indeed. I know 'cos its mine

It could very well be a steal if it only makes the very experienced auction house valuers estimate.

Apologies Dan if I have hi-jacked your post and good luck with your search.

Yes I already know about that one, and if I haven’t found anything before the auction I will be looking at that I’m sure, it does look nice!!!
