Default Cam cover sealant part number

Hi,

There's been a few threads about the special cam cover sealant recently. I know it's anaerobic and there are alternatives from loctite etc but i'd like to use the genuine volvo stuff if possible.

Unfortunately my local volvo dealer either can't find it or it really is no longer available (in fairness he's been very good but he says he can't order it, it comes back as no longer available with no part numbers superseding it). Can anyone give me the part number for it? I've found 2 and i can't see the difference between them. I found 30644517 first and have asked him to check that but it comes back with nothing. I've since found 1161059, i've not yet checked with him.

Does anybody know for sure which one it should be (1998 V70R engine code B5234t4).

Many thanks
Dave

Just in case anybody is looking for this information in future. I gave up with my local dealer (I won't name them as they're usually pretty good, just messed up with this one) and phoned FRF Volvo. The correct stuff is 1161059 and it is still available. The parts man i spoke to at FRF was very knowledgeable and it made a nice change to speak to someone who knew what i was talking about and clearly knows the cars well.

Cheers
Dave
