Why Not S80?

Looking over the prices and availability of Volvos in Auto Trader, I'm struck by the low prices asked for fully loaded S80s. Often much lower than some S70 models.

Why would anyone choose an S70 over an S80?

Personally, I prefer the looks of the S70 model, to either the 850s or the S80s (or S60s) for that matter. Having said that, I think I'd probably prefer the S90 out of all.

Perhaps the S80 turned out to be quite a bit more of a popular model, than the S70, so maybe there's more available?

Personally, for me, looks - but having said that, if I was buying a car, now, I'd probably choose the newest, best model I could get for the money - given the type of car I wanted.

I'm not sure I'd go for an S80, now though, if I was to change and was looking at cars of that size, it wouldn't necessarily be my first choice - buy the prices of them, may tempt me, if they were very good value for money.
