My windscreen had to be replaced on my 1999 classic V70 today,

The auto glass guy had to pull away the scuttle below the windscreen to be able to get at it, in doing so he revealed a filter that looks like a pollen filter or similar. the paper was dark grey, and did not look clean at all. It was positioned on near side close to corner of windscreen below where we used to stick the car tax

What filter is it? and how do you normally get to it?

cheers

It is the pollen filter. The scuttle panel needs removing to gain access.
