Caravan weighs 1162 kgs and its just a cable on brakes on caravan and it tows fine tested when I picked it up in the storms we had over here a few months ago. Then we went into lockdown....I think tyres are 2 year old the guy before me had a blow out and fitted some rings inside tyre to make sure they dont come off the rim

Caravans in the UK have mechanically linked overrun brakes. In the UK the recommended max age of tyres on a caravan is generally agreed to be 5 years. My caravans max weight is 1500 kg . It is considered too heavy by the caravan clubs guidance for my 2003 D5 V70 but is in legal limits. I have had no problems towing it at all the V70 feels stable and has enough power to cope.
