Irv Gordon 1800 at Carlisle Import show 2021
Just to show that Irv's car is still about. Screen grab from RobertDIY video of the Volvos at the show. Heavy bias to 850's and P1 cars but that is what he is famous for. Link to the video. 1 lone Amazon noted but I'm sure there were more there. Would have been nice to be there too.

Carlisle Show/PA/ USA
Attended this year -obviously no show last year - and was the largest turnout that I have seen there in all the years attended. Correct a LOT of 80/90 vintage Volvos, A number of 50 and 60 vintage with many P series, a salute to IRV obviously, problem for me is that the 50/60 years were spread out all over the field with a paucity of vendors. Joe Lazenby was in his usual spot with parts , thankfully he had my BW35 transmission "rod" . VP had the bushings which was the problem for me. A salute to the Saab guys- always a great turnout with displays apparently a very active club, Saabs of all flavors. Regards, Russ

Not a hockey player - So who exactly is Irv Gordon? Certainly has a + personality.
I've never been to Carlise, but was surprised to see mostly modern cars. I would have expected all vintage. |

Unusual to see so many late model cars at the Carlisle Import show but Volvo was featured so they turned out en mass.

That's Robert Spinner who has the YouTube that it was posted on. He's the go to man for how to fix your 850r and similar era Volvos. He drives around the eastern USA helping people out. From New Mexico to Chicago in the last week. A mine of information. He posts several times a week. Even if you aren't into this era of Volvos he's still worth watching.
