It makes me smile, the number of folks I see around and on news bulletins who have a mask on but only covering their mouth leaving the nostrils exposed so they can breathe.

A bit like Hippo's wallowing with just their nostrils above the water.

To get back to the OP's question of 'driving again'; I hope the current low petrol prices stay around this year.

I've been driving to/from work throughout this Pandemic and the low(er) fuel prices have made a welcome difference.

I think the only thing that stops me driving for a jolly jaunt is the lack of toilets en route.

I heard of a woman in Scotland who was given a mask by the NHS to wear during a hospital appointment. At the end of the appointment she was told she could keep the mask (it was re-usable) to wear as necessary in the coming weeks. When she got home she decided she would improve the mask by very carefully cutting neat holes in it for her mouth and nose, so that she could breathe more comfortably!

I think that's what is called 'not getting it'!

Stan.
