Sounds like a fair swap!

All depends what you're aiming for ultimately. If you just want improved driveability with a few more horses, go for one of the generic chip upgrades. If you're going for lots of mods and aiming for 300+bhp, dedicated engine management is the way to go, as linked above (the Emerald system) but if you have an LPT and just want an extra ~30bhp, change the wastegate actuator for an HPT version or fit an MBC - alternatively drop in a 1UZ V8 and call it good.

The chip(s) you purchase mainly depend on your set up, many of the ones you purchase over the internet have been set up to work with particular fueling (size of injectors and AMM), etc... There is a chap that can make you a custom chip, if you search this 700/900 forum, he's replied to other members.

You can go down the Standalone/Piggyback ECU route, but that can be quite a time-consuming process, and you may not get the results you want depending on your set-up/budget.

You can try Classicswede, he sells chips there's also a chap on eBay under the username "boostinbilly", might be worth contacting the eBay chappy to see if he's the same chap that I mentioned above. Classicswede sells chips based upon "Stage" tuning, stage tuning doesn't apply to everyone although it's good practice.

There are other chips available such as those made by TLAO of Turbobricks fame, and Fred's (hi tuning) chips. Might be worth doing a google search and trying to include swedish as a language.

What's ghost chips. Where can I get them from ?

I'm hoping for around d 270bhp ish. I dont want to be too deep in and I only want to use bolt on parts or parts I can alter as I dont have a massive budget. I have a 16 t that I am planning on using and currently have a mbc on the 13c. I need some blue me7 but cant seem to sause any at the moment but want set of chips to suit my car too. See some guy on here offering his services but cant seem to remember his name.

T5 ME7 blue injectors are Bosch part number 0280155830.

I think the chaps name on the forum is martin_r_smith https://www.volvoforums.org.uk/member.php?u=46097.

Hope this helps.

Quite a few on fleabay and it gives you the other models they're used on.

That means you can search for the injectors for those models as well
