V70 1997 2l 126hp
hello!
My v70 starts up normaly when it is cold but dies out when the temperature rises, and when it shuts off it wont start again before it is cold again. i changed my plugs and my termostat. do someone know what the problem is? Thank you! |

If this were on my Vauxhall Omega I'd say it was an early sign of crankshaft position sensor failure but I don't know if Volvo sensors react in the same way.The best bet is to get the codes[if any]read before diving in changing parts on the off chance of finding the fault that way.

Faulty or disconnected coolant temperature sender? It's fairly easy to monitor the resistance of these with a multimeter, do it when hot and when cold, and if the readings are the same (or similar) then it's faulty.

Could it be the fuel pump controller / relay? I had a similar issue. It is worth noting that this unit is more than a simple relay.
