Question Seat wear and tear

Hello and thanks for reading this message.
V50 2006 1.6 petrol
Grey fabric interior trim.
Small tear / wear on drivers seat base. Needs patching.
Thinking some fabric through small hole then restitch back together.
Any ideas or experiences?
Thank you.

you can get a new cover from Volvo or a used one may be in better condition than yours.

looking at that,, yes you can repair or as clan says , Replace the cloth cover,
you May find the foam underneath is also in need of sorting out,,

replacing the covers, cloth or leather, is not a difficult job, fiddly yes, but diy-able with time / patience AND a pair of hog ring pliers (and some new Hog rings)
