http://www.volvocars.com/uk/sales-se...indicator.aspx

6 year 108,000 mile service including timing & aux belts.

Edit: that does not include the recommend 2 year brake fluid change

Default Just curious

Just curious so anyone thinking they may need the cam belt work doing would have a ball park budget figure on how much it is likely to cost .

Am due to have my '09 plate XC60 serviced in the next couple of months. Its just done 55k miles.

The volvo dealer advised that the cambelt at this mileage/age was not part of the schedule.

Incidentally, they quoted a cost of £420 for the service but offered a discount that brought it down to £350. They were very keen for my business.

Which model XC60? The T6 has a chain - not a belt.

Default XC60 cam belt

I have a 2009 XC60 now with 104,000 miles. At the 6 year service it happened I approached 2 Volvo dealers - one said change at 6 years/108000 mi and the other 8years/108000 mi. So I went Volvo Cars UK and they didn't know! So they contacted various dealerships and came back to me with 108000mi or 8 years. I know mine needs to be changed soon on account of the mileage. I hope this helps.

They are all wrong , it is 108000 miles or 10 years , but you are close to 108000 miles now so get all the belts and tensioners and pulleys changed at your next service .
