Default Hidden menu

I've run into watching lots of videos about hidden menus in different cars.

Any for V60s as you know of ??

It is certainly an interesting question, but on the other hand, why would you want to know? As a software engineer, I am opposed to hidden menus unless they are very well protected. They are hidden for a reason.

i agree that keeping how things work simple is great and average joe wouldnt care about battery voltage, oil temp or total engine running hours much, but i think it is always nice to get more for those who demand.

i am having problems with my battery and a hidden voltage display like in bmws would be amazing for me right now

I chose champagne with caviar and birch-smoked salmon blinis

Nope no hidden menu's,

Well none that dealers are told about anyway,

everything is software based, ie updates and adding stuff like sat nav and parking camera's

On an XC60, turn on the ignition without depressing the brake. Press and hold the read button then press the rear fog lights button 5 times. Release the read button on you see the DTC menu appear. You can use the read button to cycle through the messages. It only informs you of modules with codes stored. It doesn't read the codes or give you any realtime information.

Which is the read button ? Do you mean the OK button on the left hand stalk ?

I'm pretty sure mines a read button as it's used to cycle though vehicle messages, but yes it the button on the end of the left stalk.

Mines a MY2011 so maybe different on newer models.

Tried again without success. Maybe this is disabled in the newer versions.
