Default Automatic Wipers - XC60 MY22

Picked up an XC60 Inscription Expression earlier this week, so far I'm liking it very much.

Its raining for the first time today (I know, I'm surprised too) and I noticed the wipers didn't come on automatically. The spec says it has them:

So, how are they enabled? The stalk only says Int, I, II etc.

On the previous years models the activation for the automatic wipers was from the button on the stalk itself. Don't you have any button on it pointing towards you?
Could they have changed it to be from the sensus?

There is a wiper setting in sensus settings to tick if you want the car to remember auto wipers so they stay activated, otherwise you have to activate them every time you turn engine on. If you use the wipers manually auto wipers turn off, and you have to press the button again but it will still remember to activate next start up. auto wipers stay on when using the stalk down quick swipe position.
I found leaving auto wipers in the remembered setting that the wipers swiped the screen dry first start in the morning if screen was a bit dusty causing light scratches.

Don't forget that you can adjust the sensitivity of the rain sensor as well.

If you don’t mind me asking, when did you order yours?

No, no problem at all and the answer is this time last week

I searched on the Volvo website for cars already at dealers - there are surprisingly quite a few around. Got a big discount too.

Oh that was lucky! I guess it’s spec dependent too. Hopefully getting mine next week - can’t wait!
