Part identification help please
I've recently had my injectors out of my car more times than I care to remember, and after I replaced them for the final time, I neglected to tighten it properly and the injector leaked exhaust gas and gunk from the side.
It also melted away the side of the plastic collar (?) on the injector, so it needs to be replaced but I can't find the correct name for it or a part number. If anyone can identify the plastic part indicated by the red arrow, I would be very grateful. Thanks, Dave. |

You better change the small metal ring that actualy seals the cilinder just above the injectortip

It's not leaking now as I tightened it up properly but the plastic item I'm trying to identify is damaged and I want to replace it and refit the injector for the final time. |

Not sure on these engines, but in the pug world we'd call them fire seals.
