Isofix protection
Hello,
I've recently bought a 2014 V70 D5 SE Lux, having owned a 2004 XC70 for 4+ years. I'm due to put my children's isofix seats in the car. Is there a specific Volvo protector for the isofix prongs? I used to use these for my XC70: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/364407446...Bk9SR_L9kpCCYw But they're for a P2 not a P3. Are the seats that different? My car is also missing its owners manual. I've been able to download a copy from the Volvo website but does anyone know where I can get hold of a genuine one in its wallet? So I can leave it in the car. I've seen some available on eBay but I think they are selling a print out of the manual rather than a proper manual. |

These - or similar, there's plenty of them available - should equally do the trick:

I've got the genuine Volvo individual prong covers and they are next to useless. They never stayed in place and were more nuisance than they were worth. Once the seating need became occasional rather than permanent, I just discarded them and if I can find them, you're welcome to them. PM me an address to send them to.
What are fantastic for child seating are the built in two height booster seats. Always there when you need them and adjust for larger and smaller children. I nearly bought a very nice Japanese 2014 replacement XC70 with loads of toys, but it didn't have the booster seats, so I let it go and stayed with the 2012.

EDITED TO ADD: Just checked and the yellow latch point guides I bought/own are Silver Cross branded - not sure if that makes any difference, can see they're pricey actually, but I got mine for a quid plus p&p... I would have liked to get a car with the built in booster seats but there weren't many V70s about and I had to make some compromises that being one of them. Thanks for the offer, I think I've got some of those individual covers somewhere. I liked the Volvo one piece cover when I had my old car but they don't seem to do them for the P3. |
