What is the difference in the cross memeber of an b18 1800s and the 1800s that had a b20 in them? This damaged cross member is from a '70 (so it's an 'e' but shows the same part number as the late 's') and the parts manuals are showing a different part number than the '64 1800s (non-Jensen and it doesn't have the cheesey little horseshoe bolt set up on like the Jensen Xmembers did)?
Anyone have any ideas? Gordon? Thanks Chris |

No other difference than pre dual brake line cars only had bracket for one brakehose (welded on the cross member) - dual brake line cars (B20 in Europe) - had bracket for? YES! 2 brakehoses. :-)
Same partnumber in catalogs - is because a single brake line car would get the "new" cross member anyway. |
