Got picture of your set-up by any chance Philpottig?
Hi Bob,

Haven't installed it yet but here is what it looks like.
Wife has now decided she doesn't want it in her car so if you are interested I will be happy to sell it on for a bargain price rather than try and fit to my other car.

The hole in the base is for the iPod connector, has two small screws to release clamp, then tighten it up. It's designed for old iPod connector so the newer slimmer dock connectors will need some packing out to fit snugly, I was going to use some resin to make up to the right size to fit the hole in the base.

Posted pics but they don't seem to appear!

Ditto the bracket on the side which is to take the USB end of the cable, has two small screws to release clamp. presume you are meant then to run a cable to the USB port in the console, I wasn't going to bother, just plug straight into console.

All fitting instructions are with it, take up more packaging space than the holder, tells you exaclty where to place it and is fixed in by two small screws (supplied) to inside of console.

The holder has as you can see a spring loaded arm that holds the phone in place, have tried it with iPhone 3 & 4 fits fine but would imagine most similar size smart phones would fit too.

Sure this will look really neat installed, let me know if you are interested!

Cheers,

Ian.

Ok, fitted the holder. the cable is USB I use for charging while on the road.
I know it looks s bit too close to the changer stick, but it can be adjusted to suite.
