V60 D5 SE Lux Nav - couple of questions

My work lease V60 D5 SE Lux has arrived 5 weeks earlier than expected - Christmas has literally come early! I'll do a full write-up once I've had the chance to drive it properly and take some photos.

In brief - it's really very different from my current Audi S3 and quite a change from my string of performance cars. It's quick enough, but massively more comfortable. I'm also very pleased with the combination of Caspian Blue and Beechwood leather.

It's also a bit like a homecoming for me - my parents have always had high spec Volvos (960s, V70s etc) and my brothers and I grew up loving them...although this is my first. Just as well that I now have two kids to help me pass on the Volvo love!

In the meantime, I've been playing around with settings via the Sensus system to activate some things that really should have been set-up from delivery (e.g. dipping side mirrors when selecting reverse).

A couple of quick questions:

- How do I turn on the door mirror puddle lights?
- Can I make the auto wipers stay on all the time, rather than having to turn them on at the wiper stalk every time?
- How do I get the navigation map to zoom in more and to show 3D, if possible? I've zoomed in as much as possible and it's still a bit too high level for urban areas?

- How do I turn on the door mirror puddle lights? - I thought these came on automatically when its dark. Maybe try making sure your interior lights are set to the middle of the rocker switch for auto interior lights as the 2 may be linked?
- Can I make the auto wipers stay on all the time, rather than having to turn them on at the wiper stalk every time? I don't believe this is possible to do.

Oh, and great choice on the Beechwood leather... I love it but very few people are brave enough to order... guess with a lease car you don't have to consider re-sale as much though

the door mirror lights come on when you press the yellow button on the remote ( or the one with a light symbol ) side lights also come on and interior lights i guess .

you can control map zoom with the wheel on the right of the stering wheel , you can change maps from 3D and 2d in the menu ..

Great choice. If you want moire oomph have Polestar fitted. Manual or Auto?
