I used e-tyres without any problems, the price was good for 2 front tyres for my T5 and there was plenty of communication to let me know exactly when the fitter was coming, i would use them again...

This is just for the future but I will be replacing 2 front tyres on my C70 T5 GTAUTO and having had experience with P6 (yuk) on my old V70 , great experience with eagle F1's, I see Toyo proxes are a good bet. Any use on my car?

Hi,

You should find that the Toyo is at least as good as the Goodyear F1.

I certainly have had no problem with them yet. Have no experience of the Goodyear F!, but they are well liked here..

Great stuff as I have seen some decent prices from the toyo rather than eagles. 225/45/17 tyres for me. I experienced tramlining in my v70 which volvo denied after lots of times going to workshop/volvo tecnician, then I changed after seeing this thread on tramlining last year to eagles and yep you guessed it no tramlining. Damn good tyre. Toyo is being pumped at lot just now so if they are like for like with better prices then TOYO 4ME

only used tyre shopper to purchase tyres,

but to be honest couldnt fault them, quick turn around, tyres fitted same day and all in cost per wheel of £79.00, bargin for my 225/45/17s for the s60 and this was for avon zz3 which are my tyre of choice

I've used www.mytyres.co.uk for the last few years - can't fault them. Add about £7.50 per tyre for fitting & balancing. They list local outfits who will fit their tyres on their website.

I avoid KwikFit like the plague - they deliberately damaged my car in the past as part of their 'free safety inspection' in order to get more work out of me.

I've heard that ATS can be open to price matching - its down to the local manager. Challenger Tyres in Sheffield are also pretty good.

Re tyre choice, the best I've found are Uniroyal Rainsport - amazing grip wet or dry. Shortish life though - about 15k 'normal' use I'd guess.

Default Cant recommend etyres

I have tried - or should say still trying this company after reading about them on here - good prices, all inclusive and you can even book next day.

Only they didn't turn up - waited in all day and eventually called their call centre at 1700 who claimed their depot had tried to call to warn they wouldn't make it (they didn't), was transferred to their London depot to discuss it with them and when asked to cancel the order and speak to someone to register a complaint, the young lad put the phone down on me.

Back at their call centre their Director Tony apologised profusely, made calls, and arranged a fitting for 1200 today as I was going away for the bank holiday weekend at 1300 - and three and a half hours after they were due I'm still waiting and my plans have gone to hell..

I won't be using them again.
