I am sure there is someone who knows. But you have to give your post time for them to see it.

Anyway attached is the VADIS procedure for this test.
Hope it is of use?

Looks like i have bought a dog................ARRRGGGGGHHHHHHH

I have just done the compression test.... Cylinders 1,2,3,4 all came up on our just under 4 bar.........Cylinder 5 NOTHING.................As i had feared all along............. Getting quotes at the moment from between £700-£900 to do the work.......

I would be happy removing the head myself but would not feel confident putting it back and setting up the timing...

Hi,

Bad luck.

Looks like a burnt valve? From what I have read changing and re-seating the valves require involve checking the valve adjustments and this is done by shims. Not an easy (read cheap!) thing for DIYer to do.
