philaustin My Other Car's a Volvo Last Online: Apr 7th, 2022 16:18 Join Date: Mar 2010 Location: wakefield	1.6 diesel cutting out Hi, My uncles S40 1.6d, 2008 with 45,000 miles on has just started to cut out occasionally. The car runs perfectly the rest of the time, but with no warning, the engine dies. When he turn off the ignition and try to restart it if runs staight away and there is no problem 'till the next time it happens. It's happening every few days now. The RAC plugged it in and no fault codes came up. Can anybody help me ???.
