Default leaky radiator, amongst other

i have a radiator (on my 95 T5 Estate) that has started leaking, i get a few drops over night, and in general it takes about 4 weeks for the water to fall from maximum to minimum mark, the car does not over heat.
I've narrowed down from where the radiator is leaking from, i seems that the plastic tank on the side attached to the aluminium matrix is a tad loose.
So my questions are: can this be fixed (re-conditioned) is it a DIY job whereby i tighten the clamps holding the plastic tank to the matrix, and or apply some silicone based gasket stuff!!
or should i just invest in anew one from volvo at £100.00 + VAT, i can install it myself!
Also can the car be driven with a leaking radiator, without causing any other associated problems?!!?

On a different note, i would also like to purchase a front grille and n/s bumper mounted fog/spot light, where can i get these goods without throwing my hard earned monies at Mr Volvo dealership, who are pretty expensive. I'd prefer a mesh type grille but a standard volvo one would suffice.
Finally i've been qouted £120 for changing the front disc's and pads, that for parts and labour, is that reasonable.
My thanks in anticipation!!
